Hi Christiaan,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm sorry it took me so long to post something, but I never seem to find the time to think of something to say!
I've been an occasional reader of CBLF for a long time, and it was Cat's postings there that directed me here.
I've been a Christian for about ten years now; I won't bore you with the story, but it was my sexuality that kept me an atheist for a long time - it always seemed that God and I wouldn't get on! Now, of course, I know different.
All the best.

Welcome, Lex.
Testimonies welcome here!
The vast majority of atheists, and especially the most ardent, have a 'testimony' about being atheist which actually has nothing at all to do with the philosophical question of whether or not God exists (a question which depends hugely on what is meant by the word 'God', where the atheist community seems to accept without question the fundamentalist christian concept invented only a hundred years ago and used by only a tiny minority of the faith community even today...)
...and that testimony, about being atheist, is always about being angry about religion.
Nothing at all to do with whether or not God exists.
Anyway, welcome home, to a place where God is known, and where religion doesn't suck so much.
