Hi all..

Just making a first post, and wanting to say a little about myself.

I'm not a BL myself, although I would've loved to have met a BL when I was in my teens. In fact, I can almost certainly say I needed a BL in my life, especially in my teens.

Not a BL, just a PVF (as in Plain Vanilla Faggot)

I am a long-term Christian, and in most things very conservative but also quite open. There are a couple of areas I tend to break away from mainstream Christianity in, the obvious one being the area of homosexuality. I'm "fearfully and wonderfully made", knit together in my mother's womb by God Himself.

I do have a very close friend, and former BC poster, who is a BL. He can't be here right now, but has sent me on a mission to locate some former friends of his and update them as to his whereabouts, and also to do "an internet star trek" for him (ie "check out strange new worlds, to go where no straight man has ever gone before... :D/>

I understand more of your plight than you can imagine, having grown up in a conservative family, town, country. and time. I may not be one of you, but while I am here I am your brother in Christ, and I hope, your friend.

Take care and God Bless all,
Remember the chains

I believe that committed same sex relationships can be in keeping with all the laws and the prophets. Laws traditionally held to oppose same-sex sex actually prohibit exploitation of males by males who are heterosexual by nature).

I believe that Jesus lives in eternity as all his ages and is very glad to minister to us as the boy Joshua/Yeshua who we get a glimpse of in the bible in Luke 2: 41-52.

Welcome RTC!

I've been following your posts on another site, though I'll be formal and not link you by mentioning the site (you can do that if you wish).

I thought of myself as gay for many years, but when the gay movement began to carve away the teen-boy lovers, I realized I was getting split into fractions. Within the BL community, I reclaimed some other fractions of myself that I'd been ignoring.

I think that Christianity begins with the unjustly excluded, as well as with the poor and those in need. I could have gone on being a regular MCC church member, but I realized that God was calling for his boylovers and their friends to bring their ministry together and extend the reach of his compassion in this world.

If you felt you needed a BL when you were a teen, that would possibly make you an androphile, one of the official focus groups of this church along with (boylover) pedophiles, hebephiles and ephebophiles, plus their supportive friends and relations. Even if not, Christianity is for everyone, and all Christians understand this, so you know how very welcome you are.

And so is your friend.

I remember my friend pointing out to those "christians" who attack anyone who isn't as perfect as they think themselves to be things like Jesus ignored the religious leaders of His day - except when HE was giving them a telling off (with the rare exception of those like Nicodemus), Jesus spoke far more on being judgmental than on sexuality, and he often pointed out Christ's own quotes about not being here to seek the well. To the other BL's, He lived His faith openly, never hiding it, but never shoving it in other's faces. I know he had an impact simply because he did what we should - forget about those who seem to have it all together and go instead to the lowest of the low.

Seems like while he's been away he's been doing just that - reaching the lowest of the low.

Not quite what I meant.. I needed someone who would've actually shown me love, and taught me how to do a much better job of living. A better guide back then would've meant a better me today :)/>

Thanks and God Bless,

When I was a teen I had no interest in BLs at all. In fact, I was in denial of being gay and wasn't that interested in close relationships at all.

Many many years ago, I watched him do much the same. While he was starving for friends, and also engaged in various levels of sexual activity with some very trusted friends, he would also work hard to push people away and not let them get close.

When he came to know Jesus, he swung much the other way. He became such a wonderful loving person, a pleasure to know at times.

God willing, you will soon. But please see the prayer I left under today's worship service thingy.. (sorry Cat, no disrespect intended, just to tired to get my terms right :)/> )

Worst case scenario, you'll meet us both in Paradise. Best case, you'll meet him inside a week.

God bless,
